We’ve all heard it said that “business is business” and, often, it’s true. But this time, it’s personal.
Whims and Blooms arose organically — evolving from distraction to satisfaction— in my own personal search for comfort, inner peace and relief from frustration and physical pain.
Creativity has always been central to my personal and professional life as a graphic artist and at the helm of my creative marketing/advertising firm.
I began beading a few years back as a sort of “zennish” activity in my search for non-narcotic pain relief as a succession of great doctors treated a years-ago neck and spine injury that had come roaring back to attack me with a vengeance.
Whims and Blooms arose organically — evolving from distraction to satisfaction— in my own personal search for comfort, inner peace and relief from frustration and physical pain.
I already had an appreciation for the calming and tempering qualities of aromatic oils and — whether it was real or just my creative self chiming in — I had a sense that colors and certain minerals and gemstones had similarly wonderful therapeutic powers.
So. my erstwhile “artsy” forays into beading took some subtle but significant turns and, well, here we are: Whims and Blooms.
With the loving help of family, some very knowledgeable natural-remedy gurus, and a handful of very creative, very supportive friends, Whims and Blooms offers a line of unique and (I think) beautiful handmade bracelets, necklaces and other accessories.
If you, like I, believe that looking good makes us feel better, and feeling good makes us look better, I invite you to browse through the Whims and Blooms collection.
I think you just might find the feeling you’re looking for.
Love,
Amy Pulliam
Harnessing Nature’s Healing Powers
Each piece is handcrafted with love and care. Using only the best materials. For essential oil jewelry this means using large lava stones to hold the most essential oil possible for longer enjoyment.
These pieces make a wonderful one of a kind gift or addition to your own collection. Essential oils have been popular now for years, but having the ability to use it right in your jewelry is something new!
